Would you like to “feel stress free” knowing your pets are in capable, nurturing hands when you're out of town?

Would you like “true peace of mind” that someone will be with your pet when they say that they will?

Would you like to leave home in the morning knowing your dog will have a “powerhouse walk” to burn off their energy so you can come home to a more more relaxed pet at the end of a 9 plus hour day?

About Barbie Klapp

Hi, I’m Barbie Klapp and I’m the founder of 2 Paws Up, Inc. Since 2003 we’ve served more than 900 furry, fuzzy, and feathered clients in the Lilburn, Snellville, Grayson, Loganville, Stone Mountain, and Lawrenceville areas of Gwinnett County. We’ve helped nearly 500 pet parents reconnect to their pets and learn that they can travel (and work late) without pet-related guilt! I am happy to announce that I wrote my first book, “Pet Travel Tips”. Here I am writing a book about traveling with your pet, when I am a pet sitter that travels to your home to take care of your pets. I felt that it was important that we know a few facts on how to travel with your furry family. Even if it’s traveling in the states, over seas, or to a local pet store or even a dog park. We need to know what is required, and how to transport our fur family members safely.

Gayla Stahl

I always feel completely comfortable leaving my 3 dogs in Barbie's care. She is dependable and follows all of our instructions so everything is routine for the dogs while we are gone. I don't know what we would do without her!

April 16, 2018 5 Myths About Grain-Free Dog Food

We all want the best food for our pets, but what does that mean?  With the recent push for celiac disease acceptance bringing more foods without gluten, dog food providers have also been jumping on the grain-free wagon.  As it turns out, research does not support many of the common ideas around grain- and […]

April 12, 2018 Treats 101 – Utilizing Food Reward to Help Create Positive Associations

As a positive dog trainer, I utilize food rewards to help create positive associations and reinforce learned and desired behaviors. April 9, 2018 Cat Plague Makes A Resurgence – Should I be worried?

Forty years ago, feline parvovirus was the reason most cats died an early death. While it is the first vaccine a cat will have, cases of the infection are almost never reported. After years of rigorous vaccination standards and feral cat population control, feline parvovirus (also known as panleukopenia or cat plague) is rarely seen […]
