Our Hiring Process
Step 1: Phone interview and then a face to face interview with the potential employee.
Step 2: We call all professional references supplied to us by the potential employee.
Step 3: Each potential employee obtains a background check from the police department.
Step 4: We perform a working interview.
Step 5: Each employee is on a trial period. We make follow-up calls and send out evaluations to our clients to make sure they are satisfied with the work done by their Pet Sitter.
Step 6: We continue to run ongoing evaluations of each pet sitter to assure that they are adhering to the standards of 2 Paws Up Inc.
Step 7: We have monthly team meetings and trainings.
To even better serve our clients and provide them with greater peace of mind, 2 Paws Up Inc now offers Pet First Aid & CPR Certification classes to our sitters. We hold various types of training classes once a month. Our sitters are provided and have access to a wide library selection of pet related books and DVDs.

Jackie Baugher, Certified Professional Dog Trainer
Jackie is a graduate of Animal Behavior College. Jackie provides the most effective convenient solutions to her client’s dog training needs. Jackie avidly pursues ongoing education and professional developments by attending several seminars a year.
With over 16 years experience in all forms of classes, she has taught extensively to a very diverse group of trainers, from pet dog trainers, agility trainers, lead instructional trainer, obedience, and search and rescue groups.
Jackie has a Tibetan Terrier named Misty who is an AKC Champion. She is also a licensed Therapy dog. Misty is trained in Agility, Dancing, Triball, Rally, and other fun training.
Jackie recently adopted a puppy from the Humane Society. You will meet the puppy at events, as well as group dog training. We Couldn’t be more excited to have her on the 2 Paws Up Inc team. Jackie lives in Duluth with her dogs Misty and her puppy, when she’s not at home caring for her furry family, she can be found all around town caring, training, and sharing for our clients, and the pet community.

She currently lives in Lilburn with her new Italian Greyhound puppy Dimitri, Cecile the Dowager Empress of Cats, and Cecile’s kittens who were born in the woodpile but haven’t ventured outside since.
